about Us.

Dr. Paul Tucker studied at Azusa Pacific University (APU), earning his bachelor's degree and subsequent doctoral degree in physical therapy in 2007.  Dr. Tucker's post-doctoral studies include Kaiser Permanente’s orthopedic physical therapy residency before training in Kaiser Permanente’s prestigious Movement Science Fellowship. Dr. Tucker studied under the Prague School of Rehabilitation in Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS), is a certified DNS practitioner, and is a Ph.D. candidate in APU's Rehabilitation and Movement Science Program.

He guest-lectures in the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program at APU, teaching Sports Motion Analysis, assisting in complex pain sciences, orthopedic clinical practicum, and clinical competency testing of orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation.  Dr. Tucker has also assisted in teaching for the Movement Links seminar series.

Dr. Tucker is actively involved in multiple research studies assessing the efficacy of novel computer-human interface technologies to enhance rehabilitation. Dr. Tucker consults with physicians in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Pain Management, Spine Surgery, and Orthopedics.

As the lead clinical specialist, Dr. Tucker successfully piloted Kaiser Permanente’s Conservative Spine Center into a regionally adapted program with locations throughout Southern California.  He specializes in movement analysis and sports performance, using advanced technologies in 3D movement analysis and musculoskeletal ultrasound. 

​

When not in the clinic or university, Dr. Tucker can be found enjoying family time with his wife and four young children.

Dr. Luke Gentry began his educational career at Western Oregon University where he studied Business and Biology. From there, he continued his studies at Trinity Western University to complete a Bachelors degree in Human Kinetics. Luke then pursued a graduate degree at Azusa Pacific University in which he earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT). Luke went on to complete a post-doctoral residency in orthopedics and became a board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS).

Dr. Gentry has been the Director of Avid Physical Therapy in Cathedral City, CA for since 2011.  He has developed a passion for treating not only treating orthopedic injuries but he specializes in treating and lecturing on Chronic Pain Disorders and Pain Management. 

 

Dr. Gentry is also actively involved with various local schools and the community to improve the overall healthcare education. He enjoys all sorts of outdoor activities as well as spending time with his wife and his two young children.

Dr. Zach McGill studied at Kansas State University earning his bachelors and masters degree in public health.  where he earned his undergraduate degree and masters in public health.  He earned his doctoral degree in physical therapy from Azusa Pacific University in 2012.  His post-doctoral studies include training in the orthopedic clinical residency program at Casa Colina and the spine rehabilitation fellowship at Kaiser Permanente working with internationally renown preceptors in movement science and manual therapy.

Dr. McGill returned to Casa Colina to oversee the Industrial Rehabilitation program before until the inception of the Kaiser Permanente Spine Center, an innovative, multidisciplinary approach to acute and complex spine pain. 

 

In his free time Dr. McGill is working on a children's book series on commonly experienced injuries with the goal of teaching kids and their parents how the body works to equip them to live life to the fullest.
